The case brings out the achievement and difficulties faced by a fruits and vegetables cooperative in entering export business. The implications of keen competition and the role of technological innovations in the export business of a cooperative are brought out. The case also highlights the need for a positive role by the government and other development departments, ensuring the success of a cooperative organization.
