Abstract
This set of Excercises consists of five simple problems, to be solved by beginners, on a data management package such as dBASE, FoxPro or Access. The problems require a straightforward application of features like updating a master file with a transaction file, after setting a relationship between them. The problems in the set titled "Excercises on Multifile Operations in Data Management Packages" (CISG0047EX), are more complicated than the ones in this set.
