Abstract
Describes how the top management of a large and growing bank contemplates setting up an organization for providing an induction and refresher training programme to its clerical staff. The case studies the details of the training organisation's setup at the head office; and the region, content and objectives of the training programme, the processes for choice of faculty, the capacity, and the budgets for the proposed training centres. It emphasizes the problems of organizing training programmes in a large bank.
