Abstract
Apart from raising the issue of true cost of borrowing, using a complex financial instrument (with the benefit of hindsight), this case brings in the added dimension of comparison with a competitor, who achieves an apparently cheaper financing. This case is a sequel to Essar Steel (1993) (F&A0421).
