Abstract
This case describes the evolution of information system in a medium scale engineering company. This poses the problem of should the company decide to go in for an ERP solution or not. The case describes the setting that may lead to formulation of an IT strategy, the gaps in the existing system, and expectations from ERP. It also provides a brief work benefit analysis of the ERP solution.
