Abstract
The note discusses the need for training in organizations. It also points out some of the factors that could make training ineffective in organization. A brief discussion then follows on some of the more common types of training. Finally it indicates some of the problems and issues involved in the training process. An appendix lists the several methods which could be used for determining training needs in an organizations.
