Abstract
The Dudhudyog Dairy serving a large metropolitan city is facing the problem of shortage of milk. In order to study the feasibility of enlarging the procurement area, the Dairy has conducted some enquiries regarding the socio-economic characteristics in adjoining areas of the present collection zone. The case focuses the factors that have to be considered in analysing the feasibility of extending milk collection area.
