Abstract

Deloitte USI Consulting business designed a recruitment program that later came to be known as the Second Innings program, paving a way for professionals to enter the organization even after a career break. The Second Innings program at Deloitte Consulting was rolled out systematically in multiple recruitment cohorts and was quite successful, attracting 2500+ applications within first three weeks of the launch of the program in the public domain. It facilitated 135 full time hires in the first three batches with 80% women practitioners among them. Unlocking a new talent pool for Deloitte, the program created value for the company by enabling untapped resources to be readily available and highlighting Deloitte’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
