Abstract
The concepts of a space on the role set are important in understanding role dynamics. While the former uses the self in the centre and all the roles an individual occupies around it, the letter uses the organizational role the individual occupies in the centre and all other organizational roles with whom he relates around it. Four stresses of role space and four stages of role set are discussed with examples of organizational life.
