Abstract
The case deals with statistical quality control of foundry defectives by attributes. Specifically, the first two parts of the case pose the problem of designing an appropriate control chart for control of foundry defectives, using identical sample sizes. The third part of the case deals with the development of a control chart under conditions of varying sample sizes.
