Abstract
In this module, we will discuss one of the most important techniques of statistical inference, that is, the process of constructing an interval that is believed to contain the true parameter value with a certain degree of confidence. These kind of intervals are ubiquitous in the statistical literature and forms a necessary component of any statistical application.
