Abstract
This case discusses the existing norms of commercial banks' input distribution credit to private dealers. Based on the profile of two private dealers the case seeks to examine the desirability of formulating alternative loan appraisal and monitoring criterion based on business performance and ability to meet short-term and long-term debt obligations.
