Abstract
This case deals with the decision-making criteria about the choice of the alternative energy sources for lift irrigation in semi-arid regions. The decision-making process and alternatives are focused both in relation to the farmers (i.e., the consumers) and the manufacturers or dealers (i.e., the markets of irrigation pumps, etc.)
