Abstract
Mr. Mahadevan, CIROs purchase manager, has to select a copying machine out of thirteen machines available in the market. Three companies offer four different models each, and one company offers only one model. The emphasis in the analysis will be on determining the demand for work to be done by the machine at CIRO; specifying the selection criteria in relation to the demand; and evaluating the alternatives, considering both quantitative and qualitative information.
