Abstract
This note examines the process of structural change in Indian economy during the period 1950-51 to 1978- 79. This structural change is examined in terms of the behaviour of several macroeconomic variables such as national income, aggregate consumption expenditure, domestic savings, gross domestic capital formation, functional distribution of national income and personal distribution of consumption expenditure.
