Abstract
The case deals with the dispute emerging out of bonus for the year 1958 by Arvind Mills. It contains an analysis of the non- payment of bonus owing to the company's claims for rehabilitation and replacement of machinery under the existing law. The student is expected to examine the implications of payment of bonus under the bonus commission Award vis-a-vis the voluntary agreement that existed in Ahmedabad between the year 1953 and 1958.
