Abstract
The Portuguese airport operator ANA was a profitable enterprise. The case analyzes the revenue streams of the company and key accounting benchmarks. It highlights the changes in the business model which occurred during the course of the preparations undertaken for privatization. The development of non-aeronautical services along with quality management seemed pivotal in generating the cash-flows that were required for ambitious plans of investment. Inferences regarding the longer-term financial performance of the group can be drawn.
