Abstract
Describes the management's response to the union's threat of mass agitation if the officers alleged to be negligent are not duly punished. The management's conclusion regarding the accidents differs from that of the union, and hence it decides not to take action against the officers. The employees resort to a strike under the guidance of the union. The management seeks help from the government in dealing with the situation.
