Abstract
This case describes how the fueling plan of buses can affect the fuel expenditure, since the prices of fuel differ in various locations. The objective of this case is to pick up fuel at the cheapest points, ensuring that there is enough fuel to travel from one fueling point to another. The impact of the size of the fuel tank and the total fuel cost can also be evaluated. An LP model is used for the analysis.
